Decision Time: Final Genre

After researching the genres, Hannah and I came to the conclusion: comedy will be the genre of our final task. Although comedies are difficult to end at two minutes, we feel the production process will be more fun to produce and we are able to utilize all the tools, information, and creativity.Also, we are both interested in the comedy genre. So, we felt this would be an excellent opportunity to learn about the comedy genre. Out of the three genres we researched, we felt comedy was the easiest to produced. If we did a movie musical,  it is more difficult to choreography dances to original songs. Also, the process will be time consuming and will be extra work. If we choose horror, it would be difficult because it is more difficult to film things during the night and the acting would seem artificial.

As we were researching the three genres, we felt we needed to add a sub-genre because most of the films include two genres. For instance, Romantic Comedies. We would like to include action as apart of the comedy genre because our pitch idea includes spies.
